We went to Lotte's 2nd birthday party last weekend, and when I attempted to put Zoe's long bangs into a top knot, she decided that in fact she needed every single pink and purple hair tie we have in her hair at once. Luckily there were only 5 in those colors! I love this age...her fashion sense is hilarious!
To counteract all this talk of pink and purple, I have another funny story to share. The other day Zoe asked me, "Mama, when it's my birthday in October will I be a boy?" When I told her no, she was clearly disappointed. "But I want to be a boy, Mama!" My reply was that she could pretend to be a boy whenever she wanted, and she seemed satisfied with that.
