Zoe and I baked cookies together for the first time this week, and she LOVED it! She loves helping me in the kitchen, and she had fun adding the ingredients, mixing the dough, greasing the cookie sheets, and putting the balls of dough onto the cookie sheets. Making cookies with Zoe reminded me of my many wonderful memories baking cookies, bread, etc. with my grandmother. Grammy was an excellent baker, and we had so much fun together in the kitchen. Baking with her is definitely one of the highlights of my childhood. I wish she was still around so that she could share her love of baking with Zoe - they would have loved each other!
