We went to the spring bulb show at Smith College yesterday. What a treat to see all those spring blossoms while our ground is still buried under tons of snow! I have been sick for the past 3 weeks, so it was particularly nourishing to my spirit to be out and about and in such beauty.
We met up with Lester's uncle Jim, who lives just down the street from the Smith greenhouses. We hadn't seen Jim since Christmas, so it was a treat to see him as well. Below is a sampling of some of the gorgeous flowers that we saw.
We also visited the cactus room, where Zoe strongly warned us not to touch anything. :-)
