Gecko and Ya-Ya

As Nico and Zoe become more aware of each other, they are developing a sweet friendship. Neither of them can quite manage to say the other's name correctly, so Zoe calls Nico something that sounds a bit like Gecko, and Nico confidently calls Zoe Ya-Ya. In fact, the other day I ran into Nico downtown (Zoe was at home sleeping) and Nico pointed to me and said Ya-Ya! ( I guess I am also called Ya-Ya by association). They still play together a few times a week thanks to our babysitting exchange, and they both look forward to the time together.
