We are back from our 4th of July travels, and I finally have a moment to add some things to the blog. It's been a busy couple of weeks, and it feels good to be home. Here are a few more pictures from the Cape.
This is the main house, called the "Bungalow." We were married on this lawn in 1999. This year, we spent a lot of time playing with Zoe out on this lawn!
Here is the beach. Zoe enjoyed playing in the sand, and surprisingly, she didn't try putting it in her mouth very much!
Here's Zoe with friends Malka and Cindy and that's Ben in the background. They come to the Cape with us every year. The first time when they came for our wedding, Ben was 10 and Malka was 8, so it's been fun for us watching the kids grow up! Cindy and Lester have known each other since college.
Malka was a big help with Zoe this year...they had a lot of fun together!
Here's Malka's dad Scott hanging out with Zoe in the kitchen. Scott is one of Lester's oldest friends. He and Lester went to high school together in East Montpelier, and then they went to college together in Hoboken, NJ. Now, Scott and Cindy and Ben and Malka live on Long Island, so this is one of the few times each year where we get to spend time with them.
