We had a wonderful time visiting Aunt Mary and Uncle Art in Bethesda. We also saw my cousins Matthew and Sarah and Sarah's 15 month old daughter Lila. Lila stayed over one night and spent the whole day with us, which was very fun! Zoe loved watching Lila run around - it distracted her from the frustrations of trying to learn how to crawl. Lila liked having a little one around. She is just learning to talk, and had some trouble saying Zoe - it came out, "Ee-yo ee-yo ee-yo," so cute!! It was full spring in Bethesda and the azelias were in bloom (absolutely gorgeous!) and we took some nice walks and visited a couple of parks. Here are a few pictures:

Zoe and Lila had already been playing together for a couple of days when we took this picture. As soon as Sarah and I sat down on the couch together with Zoe and Lila, Zoe immediately reached out to grab Lila! She was so excited to finally get to touch this other little person who had been running circles around her and keeping her happily entertained since her arrival.

Zoe and Lila are obviously more interested in each other than in having their picture taken!

Zoe explores Lila's jungle high chair...this kept her happily entertained for quite a few meals!

A visit to the park...notice all that green behind Zoe! Things are still looking pretty grey back home.
