Thumb sucking begins

Right around 4 months, Zoe has finally figured out how to reliably get her thumb into her mouth. Interestingly, it is almost always her left thumb, and she is still working on controlling her fingers. At first, she would poke herself in the eyes with her fingers while sucking her thumb, which always resulted in an angry scream, but now she is learning to turn her hand so that the fingers don't land in the eyes. It's incredible to watch her work so hard to learn to move her body, unbelieveable to think that we were all at this stage once...WOW!
