Zoe's Baba was in the Peace Corps in Lesotho from 1999-2001. While there, she befriended MeMompe, and they have kept in touch ever since. This month, MeMompe is visiting the U.S. for the first time as a guest of Ginnie. We met them and Uncle Jim for lunch today. It was MeMompe's 2nd day in the U.S., and she was still quite jet lagged. In Lesotho, where she lives, people eat the same 3 foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day (corn meal mush, steamed greens, and sometimes meat). Needless to say, the restaurant menu was a bit overwhelming!
