Zoe had a blast at Dartmouth Winter Carnival this year! When you are 3, what could be better than a big bear made out of snow that you can hug and climb on?

The snow penguins were pretty cool too!

Uncle Jason gave Zoe a piggy back ride on our walk back from the pond party.

Skating was pretty challenging, but Zoe finally managed to get her balance well enough to stand unassisted - definite progress! This is Occum Pond, the pond that was in the back yard of my grandparent's house. It's where I learned to skate, and it's my favorite ice skating spot...particularly at night. I went out for moonlit skates both nights that we were in the area, and it was such a treat!

Uncle Jason was a big help with the skating.

Another creature to hug!

This ice slide was a lot of fun. When went back to the pond in the evening for a moonlit skate, I got to try it out too!

This sculpture was fun to climb inside. There was also an igloo that was large enough for a bunch of kids to go inside at once. So much fun!
