At the end of September we spent the weekend with the Spanish House folks on Laurel Lake in Fitzwilliam, NH. Spanish House was a large group house that Lester's mom helped start in Boston in the 1970's when Lester was in elementary school. Many long-lasting friendships were formed, and this group of old hippies still gets together every couple of years to reminisce. This was the first Spanish House gathering since Zoe was born, so it was really fun to introduce her to everyone. The house we stayed in was great for little ones - lots of space to run around and a whole playroom filled with cool toys - perfect! Above, Zoe and her Baba warm up by the fire.

Poppy and Zoe playing with marbles. This was Zoe's first experience with marbles, and she loved them!

Caroline reading Zoe a book.

Zoe and Mama out for a paddle on the lake. Zoe is getting to be an avid boater!

The whole Spanish House gang gathered on the dock to watch the sunset. A lovely weekend!
