Nana visited last week, and she and Zoe had a fun time together! Some highlights from the visit were Nana spending the evening with Zoe and even putting her to sleep so that Lester and I could go out on a date together, Nana watching Zoe in the morning so that I couls sleep in (a VERY rare treat!), Nana pushing Zoe around in the laundry basket (which Zoe LOVED), Nana baking yummy muffins for us, Nana bouncing Zoe on the big blue ball (which Zoe LOVED), a few visits to the cats upstairs who we were taking care of for a few days (Zoe gets so excited to go see the cats!), and some nice brisk walks in our wintery weather. Nana is now safely back home in Oregon, although her trip back was challenging with flight cancellations and delays combined with catching the flu - poor Nana! We talked to her today, and she is feeling a bit better. We are looking forward to her next visit in February!
