Zoe turned 11 months old this week, and her first word is (drumroll please...) BALL! Does this mean she will be an amazing athelete, or a lover of all things round? There is some debate in our household as to whether she also says BOOK (pronounced "ook"). Both Lester and auntie Sharon say they've heard it, but I'm not convinced. I agree that she says "ook" from time to time, it's one of her babbling sounds, but not necessarily in relation to an actual book. In contrast, whenever she sees a ball or any other round object, she says "ball, ball, ball" as you can see in this video. She is also making a kind of growling sound whenever she sees her toothbrush, and she continues to sign "more." All very exciting stuff!
